Ten years on, University Maths Schools are changing lives.

A new study by the Observatory for Mathematical Education, commissioned by U-Maths, finds that students at these schools achieve higher A Level grades and are significantly more likely to progress to the UK’s most selective STEM universities than comparable students elsewhere.

The benefits are greatest for girls, under-represented groups and those from low-income backgrounds – proof that Maths Schools are fulfilling their mission to open doors for the next generation of mathematical scientists.
