What To Expect?

Your enrolment appointment should last approximately one hour but please do bear with us if queues form. During this time, you will meet with a member of our administration team to check your personal details; you will have your photograph taken for your student ID card; you will meet with a more senior colleague to finalise your subject choices and you will receive your IT log in details.

We will have colleagues on site who can answer questions about student bursaries and any queries regarding your next steps, whether that be higher education, an apprenticeship or employment. We have also invited the bus companies into school who may be able to support you with travel queries.

What To Bring?

You must bring your birth certificate or passport, as proof of identity.

You must bring your GCSE results, as proof of your qualifications.

You must bring your completed enrolment booklet with the admissions form completed and all documents signed.

Please note that you will not be able to enrol without these documents under any circumstances.
Enrolment discussions are very important as it is essential that you are placed onto appropriate courses, since you will only be permitted to make one course change between starting Year 12 study and the end of September. These discussions will take various factors into consideration, including your level of academic success at Key Stage 4, as well as the availability of your chosen courses.

Pre-Enrolment Task

You will be asked to complete a pre-enrolment task for each of the subjects you intend to study with us at Durham Sixth Form Centre before starting with us in September.
